#  Celebrating Graphic Medicine

The Incubator experiments with a [variety of visual tools](/drawing-graphics) to promote conceptual understanding, strategic thinking, and effective communication—which is why we were excited to celebrate National Cartoonists Day! Today, one exhibit has our attention: Countway Library’s Graphic Medicine Collection, located in the Russell Reading Room, which presents visual approaches to public health and medicine. According to Countway Library, graphic medicine “explores a plethora of health topics through comics, including mental health, health equity, and more.”
