Doctoral students at the [Center for Health Decision Science](https://chds.hsph.harvard.edu/) joined Incubator Director Sue J. Goldie and staff for a discussion on how to expand support for graduate students at the [Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health](https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/) in building their knowledge and skills on teaching and learning. Students discussed the value that can be obtained from teaching experiences and identified gaps in teaching support for graduate teaching fellows. Possibilities for addressing these challenges include the development of a teaching fellow training program for decision science students and workshops for building skills needed to create effective and innovative lessons and assignments.
