Nina Bhattacharya, a student fellow at the Global Health Education and Learning Incubator, has been awarded a Michael von Clemm Traveling Fellowship to fund a visual literacy project this summer. Bhattacharya, a Master of Science (MS) student in global health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, will be collaborating with the [Human Outreach Project](https://humanoutreachproject.org/) in Tanzania to explore visual methodologies for public health communication, as well as community engagement and empowerment. Since 2005, the [Michael and Louisa von Clemm Foundation](https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/magazine/winter08dean/) has provided generous support to Chan School students embarking on international learning experiences. Bhattacharya has also received funding from the Incubator and from the Chan School’s Department of Global Health & Population for her summer research work in Tanzania.
