DESCRIPTION:<p>	Governments around the world are increasingly regulating the flow of cross-border data on the basis of privacy, security, and other public interest concerns. These <a data-url="http://gheli.harvard.edu/challenges-beyond-borders" href="internal:/challenges-beyond-borders" target="_blank" title="aspects of global governance">aspects of global governance</a> that do not have primary health mandates can directly or indirectly influence health determinants within countries, or drive the flow of health-relevant risks between countries.</p><p>	What types of policies should developing countries adopt and advocate to safeguard their interests, especially in health care? On July 24th, join <a data-url="http://www.globalaccessinaction.org/" href="http://www.globalaccessinaction.org/" target="_blank" title="Global Access in Action (GAiA)">Global Access in Action (GAiA)</a>, a project of the <a data-url="https://cyber.harvard.edu/" href="https://cyber.harvard.edu/" target="_blank" title="Berkman Klein Center for Internet &amp; Society at Harvard University">Berkman Klein Center for Internet &amp; Society at Harvard University</a>, for an open discussion about these increasingly important considerations.
