Emily served as the Associate Director of Strategy and Communications since the Incubator’s inception in 2014, helping to set and implement the organization’s strategic agenda and supporting the Faculty Director in the development of effective administrative, communication, and operational policies and approaches for the team. Since 2016, she has assumed a greater role in the identification, cataloguing, and organization of the Incubator’s global health repository, the curation of topical resource collections and teaching packs, and the production of educational materials. In June 2017, Emily relocated to upstate New York with her family. Following that transition, she continues to work with the Incubator as a senior contributor, building on the new functions she performed over the past year and strengthening our digital profile for internal and external audiences. Emily has more than 15 years of experience in educational communications in the public and nonprofit sectors. She holds a BA in philosophy from Boston University and an MS in public policy and management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University.
