Hamaiyal Sana is an MPH student in the department of Global Health and Population. She is a medical doctor by training. She has previously advocated for meaningful youth engagement for achieving healthcare equity in different roles to the World Health Organization (WHO) and is currently the Vice Chair of the WHO Youth Council working with senior leadership and partners in WHO. Her research is focused on health economics to improve healthcare affordability and accessibility. She aspires to be an academic surgeon after her Masters.
