Abdul Tawab Saljuqi, MD, MPH, a physician and former official at the Ministry of Public Health in Afghanistan, visually mapped aspects of Afghanistan’s health system and key components of a polio prevention effort on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. He developed a media narrative and companion materials about polio and immunization challenges in the Afghanistan context, illuminating the strengths and challenges of health care delivery in conflict settings.
