‘Feelings Are Data’ in Bhattacharya’s New Exhibit

In early May, GHELI staff took a field trip to the Harvard Ed Portal in Allston to visit Nina Bhattacharya’s gallery exhibition, feelings are data. Bhattacharya, the Senior Instructional Design Specialist at GHELI, is a collage artist whose new exhibition includes visual and participatory pieces that invite and inspire visitors to think about how we make meaning from our feelings.
feelings are data, Bhattacharya’s first gallery exhibit, presents a colorful and gentle collage series that prompts visitors to think about “community, care, and our internal worlds.” During their visit, GHELI staff engaged with several of the hands-on activities offered in the space–exploring the visual pieces, playing with collage magnets, drawing cards from tarot-inspired card decks, and sharing personal reflections.
