Fundamental Concepts of Public Health Teaching Fellow Reunion

Incubator Director Sue J. Goldie invited DrPH students, who served as teaching fellows (TFs) for the Fundamental Concepts of Public Health (FCPH) course held in August 2015, to reflect on their experience as TFs for the course and to identify ways to enhance their professional and education experience at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Participants discussed how the novel aspects of their teaching experience with the FCPH course continue to inform their current academic journey. Students also identified priority areas to strengthen their education, including the creative construction of experiences across disciplines, the creation of culturally open spaces for learning, and encouraging relationship-building among students.
