Eve Wittenberg.

Eve Wittenberg is a Scholar in Residence at the Global Health Education and Learning Incubator, where she develops innovative and experimental learning materials focusing on her field of decision science. She is interested in pedagogical methods of on-line teaching, learning needs across levels of educational attainment, and skills-based education. She is also a Senior Research Scientist at the Center for Health Decision Science at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health, where she conducts research and teaches. Her research addresses priorities and values in health and policy decisions, including how individuals and societies determine priorities in trade-offs and how to measure these priorities to inform choices. She is particularly interested in the effects of illness on family members and caregivers, women’s health, and vulnerable populations.  

Dr. Wittenberg holds a doctorate from Harvard University in Health Policy, and a masters degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Her research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Policy, and private foundations.  And she is widely published in clinical and methodological journals, as well as having co-authored textbooks in decision science.
