Ryenchindorj Erkhembayar

Ryenchin is a second-year PhD student in the Population Health Sciences—Global Health and Population program, where he concentrates on population and family health. His research focuses on non-communicable diseases, disease modeling and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Ryenchin holds an MD from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) and an MPH from Harvard University. During his time at MNUMS, he co-pioneered graduate training in e-learning and contributed to the development of Mongolia’s first fully online degree program in a resource-limited setting. This experience shaped his strong commitment to digital learning innovation and improving the quality and accessibility of higher education in developing countries, particularly in the field of global health. Ryenchin is eager to contribute to global health education through the integration of state-of-the-art pedagogical approaches and innovative teaching methods.
