The Immigration Initiative at Harvard

The Immigration Initiative at Harvard University (IIH) was founded to further interdisciplinary scholarship, original research, and intellectual exchange among key parties interested in immigration policy and immigrant communities. Research at IIH focuses on the impacts of immigration enforcement on the lives of immigrant populations; policies affecting the educational experiences and future opportunities of immigrant students; and the relationships between immigration policy, health care, and child development. IIH hosts a research portal containing numerous issue briefs and reports on a wide variety of immigration-related topics, a page focusing on immigration at Harvard, and a collection of webinars hosted by the Initiative.
